Where: Point Atkinson, West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
When: Spring break, 2008
Photographer, Camera: Me, Canon SD800

Vancouver,BC is a delightful place with plenty of 'non-touristy' spots to drive and hike to. One such place is Point Atkinson, and the trail head is hidden in a quiet and upscale suburb of West Vancouver. The rainforest trail opens out to the ocean on a small cliff, unfortunately the access is cut off beyond a point 'coz the lighthouse keeper's family maintains a private drive way. There was a weird reference to the first white kid born in British Columbia on an inscription.
We were fortunate to visit the place at dusk, and the dark clouds on the horizon combined with the sun's fading brilliance to present an enthralling sight. Again, my obsession with sepia is obvious here... but I'm sure it tells the story.
